Section 19
Temporary registration
A vehicle may be temporarily registered in the following cases:-
(a) If the person importing the vehicle is unable to attend the vehicle registration within the deadline due to unforeseen circumstances.
(b) If the vehicle cannot be brought for registration immediately due to the failure of the engine, chassis or any other part of the imported vehicle.
(c) In the case written in clause (b), if the dispute related to indemnity insurance cannot be registered immediately with the company that manufactures the vehicle or the selling agent or the insurance company.
